Announcing the Performing Idea week of events

Performing Idea is a set of events and creative research processes that investigate the shifting relations between performance practice and discourse, event and writing. New performance works, lectures, and critical and creative exchanges between leading international figures in live art practice and performance studies are being staged as part of this investigation.

Performing Idea culminates in a series of events taking place between the 2nd - 9th October, staging a set of  artists' workshops (Creative Spaces), an International Symposium, a sound and video archive of performance lectures and an evening programme of performance lectures and redos by UK and international artists.
