Announcing the Performing Idea archive of Performance Lectures

From the 2nd to 9th October, the Performing Idea Archive of Performance Lectures will be installed at Whitechapel Gallery, as part of the Performing Idea Public Programme.

The archive looks at examples of the performance lecture as a form of artistic and critical expression, and its potential to address a broad range of cultural issues and philosophical ideas.

The archive will be available for public access daily, 11am to 6pm (except Monday 4th). Free, no booking required.

On the 7th October Lois Keidan and Gavin Butt will present and discuss a selection of items from the archive in the Whitechapel Gallery’s auditorium.
