I Wanna Be In That Film
Author: Owen Parry
1.
Twinkle played by Parry is a B movie star who is anxious about losing "him" to the unhealthy realms of reality, truth and liveness, which have come to be commonly recognized as tropes of performance art. Twinkle tells Honey Tits (Maria Agiomyrgiannaki), whose lavishly decorated hand and impeccable off-screen American accent are featured, that live performance "has sucked him in", and that “he” has been lost to the pernicious realm of "sitting in a room full of people he knows" and watching "all kinds of weird and creepy stuff happen".

One year after making I wanna be in that show/film, I have began to understand what (i think) it was all about. Sat in the audience, those red velvet cramped seats, imagining myself entering the scene that takes place before my eyes, I imagine, or I remember, or I am confused by what, who and which came first, or i don't care.
Here I am: sat in the audience pissing myself, and imagining that i'm smoking with Pina, shooting with Chris Burden, or was it Bonnie Tyler who got shot? I forget. Sat in the audience of a very different spectacle one year later, it all comes back to me, everything makes sense, or someone else (i think), some other performer, some other other has completed my piece for me.

She said: It's something to do with lies and pretending it happened.
She said: Wait! That didn't go like that. She didn't move like this. He didn't speak like that.
She said: That lamp definitely had a different colour shade, and that wallpaper, well it had a tongue in it.
One year later I have the desire to revisit. Or was I already revisiting? Does it matter?
I said: Does it matter?
